New JBL EON experiences Norwegian torture test
…in freezing cold mountain landscape and a blizzard at 25knots
The 20th of March the Norwegian snowkite championships were held in the small town of Røros.
About 70 contestants competed in both freestyle and race accompanied by three JBL EON515, delivering uncompromised performance in music and speech in the harsh conditions.
The AKG WMS450 got a good portion of ice and snow, but the D5 capsule still delivered loud and clear after the two days of torture.
The images speak for themselves when we say that this equipment can keep up with the Vikings in the winter…
The competition was a great success, and the equipment withstood the whole weekend in weather conditions that only reindeer and snowkiters would appreciate.
Local HPRO distributor LydRommet had their own representative in the competition, Joachim Wille (that’s him on the kite above right), and he can report that he and the speakers survived both the competition and the post competition party…
EON has always been cool but perhaps this is conclusive proof that Next Generation EON is cooler than ever?
